Sliding Fee Scale Specialist-Lead
Compensation: $18.89/hourly
The Sliding Fee Scale Specialist-Lead is part of the person-centered integrated care team and responsible for Sliding Fee Scale Audits across Compass Health Network. This position is also responsible for overseeing and providing initial and annual training relevant staff, as well as directly supervises the Sliding Fee Scale Specialist.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday -Friday. *Remote position open to Missouri residents.
Core Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train sliding fee scale specialist
• Will ensure all locations are trained and using consistent processes for sliding fee scale paperwork of all patients
• Disseminate information to staff regarding sliding fee scale changes/updates
• Review and audit all sliding fee scale paperwork
• Ensure data entry matches sliding fee paperwork
• Initial contact for sliding fee scale paperwork questions Compass wide
• Run weekly, monthly EMOMED verifications for all uninsured patients across the network in conjunction with the revenue team
• Perform periodic reviews of slide intake/annual paperwork for completeness for medical, dental and behavioral health programs
• Review evaluation feedback from trainings provided and adjust as needed
• Maintain updating sliding fee scale documents in conjunction with VP of Scheduling and VP of Revenue
Additional Duties:
• Provide Vice President of Scheduling with reports on office efficiency and patient flow as requested
• Advise Vice President of Scheduling of any concerns or problems reported by patients or with current patient flow protocols
• Attends monthly staff meetings as required
• Conducts self in accordance with Compass Health’s employee manual.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
• Attend all training as required by Compass Health, Accreditors and Funders
• Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisee
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
