Auditing and Monitoring Analyst

Compass Health Network USA (Remote) Full-Time

Compensation: $17.89/hr.

The Auditing and Monitoring Analyst is responsible for auditing and monitoring of financial eligibility to ensure accuracy of entry of payer sources for improved financial outcomes. This position will serve as liaison to support services leadership and revenue cycle and will work to build and maintain working relationships with all team members and department leaders. The Analyst includes data collection, communication to departments as described, setting deadlines, monitoring, and summarizing progress to leadership.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm. This is a remote position open to Missouri residents only.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for identifying when Medicaid coverage needs to be applied for behavioral health services.
• Responsible for monthly audits of slide encounters in Nextgen EHR to review for missed Medicaid applications
• Responsible for identifying trends and opportunities regarding missing coverage (financial) and communicating trends to leadership.
• Responsibilities may include providing training or creating processes for improved accuracy and efficiency
• Responsible for collection of data regarding coverage and slide accounts and reporting on a weekly basis to supervisor and leadership (financial and operations)
• Identifies areas of concern and seeks knowledge and guidance as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

High School or GED required

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with insurance billing (regulatory requirements) including but not limited to insurance, Medicaid and Medicare payors required
• Experience with prior authorizations and electronic health records required
• Experience in a healthcare setting (behavioral health and/or primary care settings) required
• Proficient in Excel, Word and other Microsoft products required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
