Job Requirements of Therapist NCAT Day Treatment:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology required
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) years experience in working with children, adolescents, and their families is preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
LPC or LCSW licensed in Missouri required

Therapist NCAT Day Treatment
Compensation: $38.45/hr - $41.45/hr. Dep on license
The NCAT Therapist will provide therapeutic services on-site to severely behavior disordered children in the Compass - NCAT Day Treatment Program. This is a very intense population with specialized needs that require a highly focused level of individualized service provision.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule follows the Northwest School District schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
- Provide therapeutic services to clients in the Compass—Day Treatment Program, including individual, group, and family therapy as indicated
- Provide psycho-educational groups to children in the Compass— Day Treatment Program
- Provide consultation to academic staff when indicated
- Document all work and complete all paperwork in an accurate, timely manner
- Work as a team member in the provision of services to identified children/families, and participate in weekly client staffings with team members
- Provide crisis services as needed
- Other duties as assigned
