EHR Provider Support

Compass Health Network USA (Remote) Full-Time

Compensation: $25.10/hr

EHR Provider Support I delivers support to Psychiatry, Primary Care, and Dental providers in the organization about how to use the EHR and related software efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. This includes prompt response to reported concerns, troubleshooting EHR applications and software, and assisting with training as needed. Support will focus on psychiatry physicians/APRNs, primary care physicians/APRNs/PAs, and/or dentists as assigned.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with occasional on-call rotation with overnight hours and weekends. This is a remote position open to Missouri Residents only.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC:

• Field incoming problems from providers to resolve application and software issues within servers, databases and other mission-critical systems
• Maintain clear communication with providers regarding reported issues, resolutions, and escalation as well as communicate application problems and issues to EHR Team and other management as necessary
• Responsible for entering all identified EHR support requests including name, department, contact information and nature of problems or issue into the EHR Support Ticket system
• Record, track and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
• Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeat future problems
• Communicate application problems and issues to EHR Team and other management as necessary
• Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science or related field

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

• At least three (3) years equivalent work experience required if no bachelor’s degree
• Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issues resolution techniques
• Very strong customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
