Job Requirements of Direct Support Professinal Supervisor:

WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least two (2) years experience as a Community Living Instructor or equivalent required
• A valid driver’s license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60-day introductory period required

Direct Support Professinal Supervisor
Compensation: $22.48/hourly
Community Living Instructor (CLI) Supervisor SW will coordinate psychosocial education and training groups for apartment residents and community clients. The CLI Supervisor SW will provide guidance and direction for CLI’s.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 10:45pm-7:15am. Requires some on-call work and may require salary adjustments for staffing coverage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Performs all the essential function of a Community Living Instructor as defined in the CLI job description
• Performs supervision of CLI responsibilities on an ongoing, full-time basis including:
o Posts open positions and works with Corporate Recruiter to fill all available openings
o Develops and oversees training and development of staff
o ensures CLI's perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures and implements documentation
o Complete CLI's work schedules and reviews time sheets
o Facilitates monthly technician meetings to disseminate information and conduct in-service trainings
o Assists Supervisor to conduct annual reviews of CLI's
• Serves as liaison between clinical staff and CLI's to facilitate communication and coordination of treatment efforts.
• Coordinates with program in development and oversight of admission tracking system
• Prepares written correspondence related to admission process
• Reviews CLI documentation for accuracy
• Maintains unit files: shift logs, group logs, admission tracking, monthly drills, and other documentation maintained on an ongoing basis
• In the absence of clinical supervisors, maintains quality and continuity of services and manages staff operations to include, but not limited to, the following:
o Oversees day-to-day operations of unit
o Ensures safety and security of consumers and staff
o Provides guidance on all consumer treatment issues
o Receives after hours and weekend calls regarding clients, programming, and environment. Relays information and consults with CPRC Supervisor or community providers as appropriate
o Coordinates with other outpatient agencies on consumers issues related to the promotion of treatment and recovery
• Provide supervision for the Activity Aides and ensure activities are appropriate for the residents of SWMPRC, enhance skill development of the residents and are within operation budget
• Develop activities relevant to treatment needs
• Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
