Job Requirements of EHR Senior Business Analyst:
• High School/ GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least three (3) years equivalent work experience required if no bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience with other Electronic Health Records is required, specifically NextGen and/or Netsmart myAvatarNX
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issues resolution techniques
• Ability to conduct research into software development, delivery concepts, and technical application issues

EHR Senior Business Analyst
Compensation: $81,411.20/Annually
The EHR Senior Business Analyst is responsible for assessing EHR systems and business needs, developing potential solutions and workflows, and collaborating with EHR and other department leaders to implement solutions. Responsible for providing advanced support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for EHR applications utilized by providers, nursing, health care clinicians, and ancillary staff.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. *Remote position open to Missouri residents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Serves as EHR lead to ensure appropriate evaluation, development and implementation for assigned projects, in coordination with Director of EHR Development and leadership of other departments
• Provides fundamental support for EHR applications, including serving as an escalation resource for other EHR Department staff
• Collaborates with agency department leadership regarding clinical workflow needs to ensure successful implementation of technology that benefits patient care and achieves expected outcomes.
• Coordinates support with 3rd party vendors on assigned projects and applications
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of EHR forms/templates and creating of reports for printing documentation as needed
• Serves as a liaison/change agent between clinicians and IT professionals to facilitate the adoption of new systems, procedures and workflow
• Assist with reviewing, testing, and implementing new EHR features and applications and maintaining knowledge of system functionality for all patches, updates, and/or upgrades
• Assist with training within the department as needed and with creating training materials for end users or superusers when required for new implementations or process changes
• Attend meetings (including on-site), workshops, and various programs as needed for projects
• Other duties as assigned
