Job Requirements of EHR Application Architect Manager:
• High School/GED required
• Associate/Bachelor degree preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least three (3) years IT application project management experience required (EHR project management experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of project and process management techniques required
• Experience in healthcare service delivery preferred
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, solve problems, and effectively manage time, as well as work well under pressure and tight deadlines required

EHR Application Architect Manager
Compensation: $85,888.82
The EHR Application Architect Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of various EHR projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of software applications and updates. Working in collaboration with Director of EHR Development, the role oversees all aspects of assigned projects within team, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project and communicates to EHR Leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Manages EHR application implementation, development and advanced troubleshooting in coordination with EHR Leadership, ensuring EHR Application Analysts and QA Analysts implement projects to meet organization goals
• Ensures all changes are fully reviewed and documented prior to deployment
• Responsible for ongoing system maintenance with assigned EHR as recommended, including thorough testing and installation of any updates
• Coordinates assigned projects with all appropriate stakeholders
• Evaluates systems for potential optimization, ensures recommended best practices are followed where possible, and collaborates with organization leadership on EHR needs
• Supervises EHR Application Analysts and EHR QA Analysts, ensuring assigned goals are met and offering guidance on proposed solutions as needed
• Provides support to larger EHR Department with tickets and support as needed
• Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
