POSITION PURPOSE

The supervisor shall be responsible for overseeing the provision of community support services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Provide supervision of community support specialists to include at least one hour of face-to-face individual supervision, daily availability for consultation, and ongoing opPORTUNITY FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT
• Ensure appropriate documentation and recording occurs within individual case records per policy
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Ensure face-to-face initial screenings occur within ten (10) working days of referral to the CPRC program
• Conduct screenings and assessments for potential consumers
• Other duties as assigned

• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals

Job Requirements

EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree in a human service related field required, Master degree preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (QQ)
or
• Must be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (RR)
or
• Must meet the qualifications for a Community Support Specialist (IHS) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (QQ) plus an additional three (3) years of experience. *Experience must be with individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders. **Experience must be with the same population they will serve as a supervisor.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred
