Job Requirements of CPRC Youth Supervisor:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree in a human service-related field preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (QQ)
or
• Must be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (RR)
or
• If not a QMHP, must have a Bachelor’s degree, plus three (3) years of experience providing community support services to individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders in accordance with the community support key service functions. Experience must be with the same population they will serve as a supervisor.
• A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation preferred

CPRC Youth Supervisor
Compensation: $35.17/hour
The CPRC Youth Supervisor directly supervises a staff of Community Support Specialists, and Family Support Providers who provide behavioral health community support services to children with a diagnosis of a serious emotional disorder and their families. This YCPRC supervisory position will cover the St. Clair area for both school and community-based CSS.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Completion and/or review of the assessment which identifies the child and family's unique strengths and needs. A successful candidate will need good written and verbal communication skills
• Development and/or review of a comprehensive and individualize wellness plan
• Orient new staff to policies and procedures of the agency and Children's CPRC programs. Assures competency skills expectations and skill verifications are met
• Assures participation in the child and family interagency team as well as any relevant interdisciplinary teams. Candidates will need good relationship building skills and organization including time management
• Assure Community Support Specialists provide direct assistance to the child and family to access, locate and arrange culturally competent services and resources needed to address the desired outcomes and the unique cultural needs of the child and family
• Assures collaboration with other service providers, schools and community agencies to facilitate open communication with all individuals involved with the child and family. Working knowledge of the family systems
• Monitor service plan delivery to consistently reassess the child’s status, service choices available, overall community functions, strengths, preferences, needs and progress toward goals
• Assures development and implementation of a crisis intervention plan/safety plan with the family (as needed)
• Assures documentation of all aspects of children's services including Healthcare Home and other wellness benefits
• Provides direct clinical supervision of children's CPRC services, as prescribed by CPRC policies and procedures, including weekly face to face individual supervision, weekly team meetings, addressing both clinical and operational issues, performance evaluation, motivational skills, and leadership qualities
• Assist clients with transportation resources as medically necessary; driving is an essential function of the position
• Other duties as assigned, including participation in CPRC emergency response and crisis intervention as needed
