Project Evaluator- GLS

Compass Health Network Remote, MO (Onsite) Full-Time

Compensation: $27.81/hourly

The Project Evaluator completes the evaluation goals for the SAMHSA-funded Garrett Lee Smith State/Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention (GLS) Program through oversight of data collection and reporting. This includes communication of results to internal teams and external partners for the purpose of process improvement and compliance with grant requirements.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is a remote position open to Missouri residents only.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC:

• Serve as the responsible party for collection, management, analysis, and reporting of client and
project performance data for the GLS grant
• Facilitate communication among GLS grant stakeholders regarding SAMSHA reporting requirements for
the GLS grant, including all required SPARS data at required intervals
• Ensure timely reporting and adherence to data collection protocols, meeting all GLS grant
requirements
• Work directly with the GLS Project Director and assigned program staff members in the collection,
tabulation and analysis of program results. This includes the collection of all data elements
listed in the SAMHSA issued NOFO, goals outlined in the project narrative, and outcomes to address
disparities identified in the disparity impact statement
• Develop professional written evaluation reports for internal review and inclusion in
SAMHSA-required annual reports
• Conduct focus groups, surveys, and/or interviews with clients and stakeholders to inform program
planning and evaluate program success
• Develop evaluation materials to assess the effectiveness of training provided to the community
under the scope of the GLS program
• Communicate project progress, outcomes, and evaluation efforts to Project Director, Compass
Health leadership, external community partners, and SAMHSA on a regular basis to facilitate process
improvement throughout the duration of the project
• Support the crisis department through additional data coordination activities
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and security of protected health information collected during the
project
• Travel in state for data collection/evaluation activities and learning opportunities,
occasional required
• Travel out of state for SAMHSA-required conferences, minimal required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human services, public health, or research-oriented field required.

• Experience collecting, analyzing, and/or reporting process and outcome data is required
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required
• Experience in grant management preferred
• A valid driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
