Do you meet the requirements for this job?
Inpatient Therapist Lead
Compensation: $36.29-39.29/hr Dep on licensure
The Inpatient Therapist Lead will provide direct care to patients in an acute psychiatric setting. The Lead therapist will oversee the assignment of each patients’ therapist on their identified treatment team. Patient’s responses and involvement in treatment will be discussed with assigned therapist as well with the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Provided direct patient care via group, family and individual therapy
• Assign therapist to patient on designated team
• Provide initial evaluation and assessment interview within 72 hours of patient admission
• Develop appropriate treatment plan to provide service during hospitalization and provide aftercare recommendations
• Function as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations including knowledge of utilization management criteria.
• Maintain appropriate documentation within time frames stated in polices
• Provide licensure supervision, if applicable
• Regular attendance (except as excused)
• Abide by HIPAA laws
• Remain current on organizational standards such as, but not limited to, CALM, CPR and Relias
• Abide by all professional and corporate ethical standards
• Other duties as assigned
