Job Requirements of Customer Relations Specialist - Crisis Center:

Customer Relations Specialist - Crisis Center
Compensation: $17.89/hr
The Customer Relations Specialist BHCC/YBHUC is part of the person-centered integrated care team and responsible for greeting patients as they arrive, check-in/check-out, verifying demographics, entering information in internal and external systems as required, assisting, and linking to the appropriate clinician at the local Behavioral Health Crisis Center and/or Youth Behavioral Health Urgent Care. This position requires continuous interactions with co-workers and individuals in behavioral health crisis.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position scheduled Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, at our Wentzville Behavioral Health Crisis Center.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide welcoming customer service to all clients
- Data Entry into EHR systems
- Complete any necessary paperwork, ensuring all required forms are completed in entirety
- Answer phone in polite and courteous manner and direct calls/messages as appropriate
- Monitor waiting area to ensure timeliness of appointments
- Check provider’s schedule daily for additions
- Schedule services based on clinical recommendations
- Disperse daily mail
- Ensure lobby/waiting area is clean and picked up
- Support Director with preparing State Data each month
- Update site's internal data sheet daily
- Check EMOMed and CIMOR for insurance verification and other data points
- Collaborate and communicate in a professional manner with BHCC multi-disciplinary team members throughout shift
- Act as facilities captain for BHCC site, regularly attend meetings, schedule and run drills and perform checks each month
- Support clients with scheduling follow up appointments
- Support team with procurement orders for site
- Participate in quarterly all staff BHCC meetings
- Keep abreast of any updates/changes regarding insurance and communicate those to Director
- Communicate any changes/updates discovered through other means to Director
- Other duties as assigned
