Technology Specialist

Compass Health Network Rolla, MO (Onsite) Full-Time

Compensation: $29.22/hr

The Technology Specialist provides intermediate level monitoring and response to technology issues utilizing the company service desk as well as a variety of hardware/software tools and techniques. They provide intermediate level software and systems troubleshooting, support, and training to end users.

Responsibilities Include:

• Works with end users to identify and deliver required technology service levels.
• Liaises with, and provide training and support to, end users on technology operation and other issues.
• Performs on-site or remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of technology problems for a variety of end users and technologies. Also recommend and implement corrective solutions.
• Responds to escalated service desk tickets regarding technology problems.
• Creates and documents all received service desk requests.
• Installs, configures, and tests end user hardware and software.
• Providers assistance in weekly New Employee Orientations.
• Assists in maintaining IT asset inventory of office locations.
• Creates and maintains documentation for various hardware/software technologies.
• Conducts research on technology products in support of hardware/software procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
• Recommends, schedules, and performs technology upgrades and repairs.
• Creates and maintains user accounts in various systems.
• Supports development and implementation of technology projects.
• Liaises with third-party support of various technology vendors when appropriate.
• Provides guidance, mentoring and work leadership to other technicians.
• Works towards meeting expected service levels and performance metrics.
• Driving is an essential function of the position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required.
• Provides weekend on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School/GED degree required
• Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

At least four (4) years’ experience preferred.

QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: CompTIA, Microsoft, or other technical certification training required.
