Job Requirements of Transportation Team Supervisor:
High School/GED required
QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Experience with management of transportation programs required
• Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferred
• Valid driver’s license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60-day introductory period required

Transportation Team Supervisor
Compensation: $17.89/hour
The Transportation Team Supervisor is responsible for ongoing management and fiscal oversight of this department.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assist in daily transportation of persons served through Compass Health Network
• Responsible for general management and operational tasks related to operating transportation department
• Recruits, selects, trains, and sets priorities for all staff reporting to this position
• Lead transporter team meetings
• Supervises staff in the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles/transporters
• Works to plan routes with cost-effectiveness and time-efficiency
• Knowledge of policies and best practices for the improvement of passenger service and safety regulations
• Enforce all safety regulations
• Review all related documentation of routes, incidents, billing, etc. for accuracy
• Ensure that insurance is adequate and up-to-date for each vehicle
• Oversee ongoing vehicle maintenance and keep accurate records of maintenance
• Conduct performance reviews for direct report staff
• Manages budget of program, ensures profitable operations, and prepares accurate reports of such in a timely manner
• Monitor severe weather and coordinate with agency leaders to discuss route cancelations, late arrivals, or early dismissals due to severe weather or road closures.
• Support staff and members in daily operations of Clubhouse
Guidelines
• Obey safety regulations and traffic laws
• Respect person’s served confidentiality and interact in a professional manner
• Report any emergency breakdown or accident as required to transportation manager
• Follow agency van usage guidelines
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
