Job Requirements of Administrative Assistant:
High School/GED required
WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least two (2) years of administrative support experience required
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook required
• The ability to prioritize projects, possess strong problem-solving skills, good research skills and attention to detail required

Administrative Assistant
Compensation: $17.89/hr
The Administrative Assistant for Southwest Psychiatric Hospital is responsible for administrative support functions to the Director, Program Manager and Medical Staff. Must be able to prioritize and work on various special projects. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to organize tasks independently.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Performs administrative functions for the Program Director and Medical Staff
• Maintains current and up-to-date contracted services and service agreement files
• Provides support for assigned committee meetings
• Manages accounting of client funds and petty cash
• Supports unit clerk and receptionist positions to fill voids in scheduling
• Coordinates and performs administrative duties for referrals and new admissions
• Maintains and reports assigned indicators for Quality and Compliance Coordinator
• Provides assistance with nursing coverage and scheduling
• Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK
• Potential exposure to agitated and/or aggressive clients
• Operating vehicles or machinery
