Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Compass Health Network USA (Remote) Full-Time

Compensation: $17.89/hr

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant coordinates and manages administrative human resource functions for the organization to include departures, monitoring of driver’s license, and eligibility for rehire (employment status at time of departure) and general clerical duties.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is a remote position open to Missouri Residents only.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC:

• Manage the resignation/termination process to include providing agency notifications and ensuring appropriate documentation has been received and documented in the HRIS
• Inactivate resigned/terminated employee in HRIS system and driving monitor system
• Manage HRIS rehire eligibility process, to include reviewing records and ensuring departing employees record reflects employment status at time of departure
• Monitor ongoing motor vehicle record results to ensure policy compliance
• Completes annual background screenings for staff, students, and contractors. Checks including but not limited to federal criminal history, state criminal history, child abuse and neglect, DMH disqualification lists, etc.
• Assist with filing and data entry following all legal guidelines
• Generate reports, as requested/needed
• Assist in internal and external audits as needed
• Provide backup support for Human Resources staff when needed (Initial background screenings,
• training, etc.)
• Special projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

QUALIFICATION(S)/WORK EXPERIENCE:

• At least 6 months experience in human resources required: a degree in Human Resources can be used in lieu of required experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel preferred
