Mobile Crisis Clinician Youth
Compensation: $26.81-$36.29/hour dependent on education/license

The Mobile Crisis Clinician Youth provides immediate person-centered assistance to referrals from the Behavioral Health Crisis line and community partners. The Mobile Crisis Clinician Youth is responsible for engaging youth and their families into services, referring them and/or assisting them in accessing needed services and resources to achieve and maintain health, wellness, and recovery. A Mobile Crisis Clinician Youth will form partnerships with community partners such as schools, Children Division, Juvenile offices, while supporting youth in natural family and/or community-based settings.
This is a hybrid position requiring regional travel and community and office-based work. It will require working part of the time from a company location, and part of the time working from a non-company location.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday evenings, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
- Provide person-centered and trauma-informed services when speaking with individuals in need
- Provide individual assistance to consumers in accessing needed mental health and medical services
- Provide clinically appropriate crisis intervention and risk assessments through an appropriate platform, telehealth or face-to-face.
- Complete Zero Suicide screening and work to identify each caller’s needs in a timely manner
- Make follow-up home visits, provide intensive in-home crisis support for youth and family.
- Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with community partners
- Attend monthly meetings and weekly clinical supervision with Mobile Crisis Clinician Supervisor
- Maintain agreed upon level of productivity
- Provide culturally competent services to meet the unique cultural needs of each caller
- Be knowledgeable of all services provided within Compass Health
- Be knowledgeable of other human/social services agencies for purposes of referral if Compass is unable to provide a service and maintain documentation of such referral
- Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations
- Ensure all documentation is written in proficient and professional manner
- Refer and coordinate with mobile outreach team, as necessary
- Collaborate and communicate with caller’s multi-disciplinary treatment team
- Flexibility with shifts may be required.
- Assist with transportation as clinically indicated. Driving is an essential function of the position.
- Office-based at least three days per week and various office locations within designated region
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
