Job Requirements of TMS Technologist:
• Associate’s degree required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• An equivalent combination of education and minimum of two (2) years experience in a health care setting is required if a bachelor’s degree is not obtained
• Training for conducting TMS visits completed (training will be provided)
• Any experience working in recovery environments or experience with ECT will be a bonus
• Knowledge of basic anatomy will be advantageous, but not necessary

Do you meet the requirements for this job?
TMS Technologist
Compensation: $22.00 hourly
The TMS Technologist works closely with the TMS provider to administer ongoing TMS to assigned clients.
This is a Full-time, benefit-eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm.
The rTMS stands for repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, and it is used to treat patients with depression who are not responding to medications alone in an adequate manner.

ESSENTIAL
• Ability to learn to setup the TMS device and the coil placement
• Guide patients through the procedure and answer their questions
• Possesses a calm demeanor and able to reassure patients
• Ability to monitor patients closely during the procedure and during recovery
• Previous experience in working with depressed and/or anxious patients will be beneficial
• Ensures complete charting for the session including rating scales
• Ability/willingness to learn TMS device specific procedure
• Ability to recognize seizure activity
• Ability to monitor vital signs
• Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK
• Regular exposure to blood and/or body fluids
• Regular exposure to radiation sources
