Therapist - Team Lead
Compensation: $38.45 - $41.45 hourly, depending on Lic
Due to critical service need of the communities we serve, we are offering up to a $4,000 sign-on bonus.* We are eager to continue to provide quality and compassionate care in our service areas and need you to make this happen!
The Therapist Team Lead ITCS is part of the person-centered integrated team and provides direct and indirect services to persons served as part of the ICTS program. The therapist serves as a team lead, providing clinical oversight, recommendations and support to the team based on identified strengths, needs, abilities and preferences of individuals served. Experience with adult substance use disorders is preferred.
This position is a part of our interdisciplinary Improving Community Treatment Success (ICTS) team. The ICTS team focuses on establishing and implementing comprehensive, individualized community-based services for individuals under supervision of department of corrections, who have substance use and/or co-occurring substance use disorders and mild to moderate mental illness, and are considered high risk for re-offending. Services provided to individuals in the ICTS program include substance use/co-occurring treatment, employment readiness, housing assistance, peer support, care coordination and community support, and crisis stabilization, as needed.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some occasional evenings for group sessions. This position serves two counties, Camden and Miller. Office hours will include time between both counties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Assesses the individual strengths, needs, abilities and preferences of individuals served
• Develops, updates and reviews Wellness Plan within required time frames to guide and direct treatment.
• Provides individual, group and family psychotherapy/education
• Provides triage services to persons who present during open access hours, as needed
• Serves as a team coordinator for referrals, maintaining program census, and care of consumers receiving services
• Assessing appropriateness/readiness of referrals for ICTS Counseling
• Support team in maintaining agreed upon level of care requirements
• Function as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations; ensuring timely documentation of services rendered per Compass Health policy
• Knowledge of utilization management criteria
• Maintain agreed upon level of customer care requirements
• Will provide culturally competent services to meet the unique cultural needs of each agency consumer and family member
• Be knowledgeable of other human/social services for purposes of referral if the agency is unable to provide a particular service and maintain documentation of such referrals
• Interface with other human/social services to provide holistic services to persons served.
• Provide emergency services for crisis calls/walk-ins per the daytime crisis protocol
• Attends all ICTS team meetings to provide clinical input and recommendations
• Coordinates with ICTS staff/team members (including P&P, DBH and DOC) to support consumers in achieving/maintaining sobriety and addressing needs to support personal recovery
• Acts as team lead; assuming responsibility for review of clinical documentation and completion of team/staff AIMS, time sheets, and expense report approval/submission
• Assumes responsibility for clinical oversight of ICTS treatment records to ensure compliance with DMH and Medicaid requirements
• Provide licensure supervision, if applicable
• Regular attendance (except as excused)
• Attend all training as required by Compass Health Network, Accreditors and Funders
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
