Behavioral Health Liaison Program Supervisor

Compass Health Network Jefferson City, MO (Onsite) Full-Time

Compensation: $35.17 hr/ $38.33 hr dep on licensure

The Behavioral Health Liaison Program Supervisor provides supervision and guidance to a team of CBHLs (and related positions) who provide immediate person-centered assistance to referrals from Law Enforcement, Jail, Courts, Schools, and various community partners. The Behavioral Health Liaison Program Supervisor is responsible for training and monitoring staff on assessing individual’s needs, level of risk, providing clinically appropriate interventions and referral. This position will represent this program with other agencies and partners to ensure needs of individuals served are met.

This is a Full-time, benefit eligible position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

  • Supervise a team of CBHLs (and related positions) providing guidance when needed, meeting regularly (at least once per month) and hold team meetings weekly
  • Assure staff provide person-centered and trauma-informed services when speaking with individuals in need
  • Ensure that staff are communicating with the stakeholders and forming relationships with referral sources
  • Train and assure staff are completing clinically appropriate crisis intervention and risk assessments through appropriate platform such as: phone, video, and face-to-face
  • Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with community partners
  • Attend community meetings to represent the CBHL program to facilitate relationship with community partners
  • Attend monthly meetings and weekly clinical supervision with Director of Access and Urgent Care Services-CBHL
  • Be knowledgeable of other human/social services agencies for purposes of establishing collaborative partnerships and expediting referrals if Compass is unable to provide a service and maintain documentation
  • Create and provide trainings either to staff or for community partners, as needed
  • Be knowledgeable about Crisis Intervention Team and the local councils. Attend CIT meetings as needed
  • Monitor CBHL related data, such as Quality Indicators, to work and improve outcomes
  • Ensure all documentation is written in proficient and professional manner
  • Collaborate and communicate with referral’s multi-disciplinary treatment team
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in human services related field

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least three (3) years’ experience working in behavioral health and one (1) year supervisory experience required
• Working knowledge of DSM-V required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Missouri preferred.
