Job Description

Compensation: $25.10/hr

To manage, deliver and support company issued mobile devices including, but not limited to, cell phones, mi-fi’s, smartphones, personal GPS tracking devices and tablets. This includes troubleshooting devices, applications and software for all internal customers, such as field staff, operations, development and other business units.
Responsible for assisting in the design, delivery and improvement of software applications training programs and related courseware.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday. *This is a remote position; open to applicants in Missouri.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Assist with monitoring staffing across the organization to ensure staff are equipped with appropriate company-issued mobile device(s).
• Assist with maintaining asset tracking for active and inactive devices.
• Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues.
• Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information and nature of problems or issue.
• Prioritize, schedule and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the device level, including upgrading software and apps, assisting staff with technical difficulties and/or replacing the device as needed in accordance with company policy.
• Record, track and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
• Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeat future problems.
• Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users and unit leaders.
• Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
• Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications across the organization.
• Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
• Provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.
• Assist in research into software application products and services in support of development and purchasing efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

• High School/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree computer science or related field preferred

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At least three (3) years’ experience preferred
