Compensation: $87,484.80-$111,841.60 annually (Dep on Licensure)

The Director of SBT Services supervises school-based therapy staff in various sites throughout the assigned region to ensure access to quality school-based therapy services.

This position will supervise the school-based therapists in Franklin and Crawford County.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Provide direct program oversight and development in coordination with the Senior Director of SBT Services
• Ensure quality services that provide clinically appropriate, effective management of behavioral health symptoms within the school systems across the state
• Direct the School-Based Therapy (SBT) process, including external partnerships, internal referrals, and ongoing grant/contract work
• Ensure team coordination and provide support to the Senior Director of School-Based Therapy Services
• Coordinate with CRS and CS to ensure appropriate coordination of referrals and entrance of school-based referrals into our system of care
• Supervise SBTs to ensure that quality work is being accomplished; SBT schedules are managed effectively; and they are collaborating seamlessly with other departments
• Regularly review all data related to SBT—financial, quality, compliance, and administrative—and follow up with SBTs as needed
• Participate in Utilization Review (UR) for caseload management, length of stay (number of sessions), pattern of care, missed appointment/cancellation rates, scheduling, etc…
• Direct peer review processes to ensure appropriate services are given, to provide a feedback loop for quality improvement
• Ensure that regular SBT meetings are held to ensure regular communication and feedback between VP, Senior Director of SBT, Directors of SBT, and direct line staff is established and maintained
• Hold regular meetings between stakeholders to ensure that all processes are outlined and followed
• Evaluate staff members’ performance and make recommendations for promotions/termination of employment to the HR department and Senior Director of Outpatient Services
• Create and maintain relationships with external agencies and other SBT stakeholders, along with the assistance from the regional VP of Corporate Partnerships
• Work with Compass Training Institute (CTI) to coordinate training of new and current staff, as it pertains to the provision of SBT Services
• Assist with clinical orientation of new staff, including familiarization tours, documentation, welcoming, etc
• Attend bimonthly clinical integration meetings
• Attend School Based Director meetings
• Assist with consultation and ongoing opportunity for skills development as professionally able
• Conduct and/or coordinate with Licensure/Certification Supervisor to provide regular supervision with staff (and maintain appropriate supervisory documentation)
• Review and co-sign and/or coordinate with licensure/Certification Supervisor to review and co-sign documentation for new staff (this includes notes, wellness plans, and psychological assessments) for the first 30 days of employment and/or as needed to ensure compliance with agency expectations and licensure/certification requirements

Job Requirements

Master’s degree required

• At least five (5) years of professional experience required
• A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: LPC, LCSW or LMFT valid in Missouri required
