Compensation: $25.10/hr

The Corporate Trainer – Technology Specialist will develop and deliver comprehensive education, skill enhancement, and continuous learning initiatives tailored to the organization's workforce in Information Technology (IT). This encompasses equipping employees with the necessary knowledge and expertise in IT products and subjects, fostering both their on-the-job proficiency and career progression in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC:

Assess Technical Training Needs
• Assess technical training needs through ongoing surveys and interviews with employees, and consultation with managers.
• Develop training initiatives, objectives, strategies, and goals based on identified training needs.
Develop Training Plans/Materials
• Design and develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources, to support technology training programs.
• Tailor training content to meet the specific needs and skill levels of different audiences, such as beginners, intermediate users, and advanced learners.
• Identify most effective and efficient means of training delivery throughout the organization utilizing available technology.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver up-to-date course content.
Conduct Trainings/Workshops
• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, or webinars on a variety of technology topics, such as software applications, hardware devices, and digital tools based on programmatic, departmental, organizational, and regulatory needs and requirements upon hire and ongoing.
• Complete and submit paperwork and documentation associated with the various training programs.
Evaluation and Feedback
• Monitor and evaluate training programs’ effectiveness through surveys, evaluations, or performance assessments.
• Collaborate with IT team to resolve complex technical issues and ensure the smooth operation of technology systems and tools.
• Continuously update training materials and methodologies based on feedback and emerging trends in technology to ensure relevance and quality.
Other
• Keep up to date with technical developments and apply knowledge to training development and delivery.
• Although driving is not an essential function of this position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required in the event the employee drives during employment.
• Travel 30% of the time.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in education, IT, human services or business-related field preferred.

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong background in and knowledge of:
o Citrix
o Microsoft Office Software (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc)
o Electronic Health Records
o Learning Management Systems
o Course content authoring tools
• A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
