Job Description

Compensation: $24.53 hourly

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for the development and ongoing activities required to sustain the targeted case management program for clients with developmental disabilities. This oversight spans 3 counties in which we provide the case management services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Ensures that the quality and quantity of all services provided are consistent with regulatory requirements as stated in the contract between Compass Health Network and the State of Missouri Department of Mental Health Division of Developmental Disabilities
• Maintains contact with the Technical Assistance Coordinators of the contracted Regional offices and attends all meetings to ensure Compass is up to date on all changes
• Selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff
• Provides programmatic oversight for approximately 40-50 individuals per support coordinator
• Reviews and approves Individual Support Plans and amendments to ensure compliance with documentation requirements and standards
• Attends Individual Support Plan meetings as needed
• Reviews and approves assessments and budgets in CIMOR
• Gathers needed and necessary documentation for Audits and Reviews as coordinated with the area Regional offices
• Assigns cases and acts as lead contact for transfers of individuals into and out of the counties we serve
• Fills in for Support Coordinator while on vacation, FMLA as needed
• Assists supervisees in the effective management of their time
• Assists and serves as a resource person to case managers by providing information regarding case management practices, administrative rules and regulations as well as community resources and programs
• Position will require travel to counties served

QUALIFICATION(S): EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At least three (3) years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
