POSITION PURPOSE:                                     
Supervise all aspects of commercial insurance billing for Royal Oaks Hospital and ensures the integrity and accuracy of billing in accordance to the standards and regulations imposed by all regulatory agencies.                                    
High School diploma with experience in management and healthcare receivables. Has a commitment to service and personal excellence. Is team oriented and values diversity.                                    
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                                    
1) Assist with the interview process of Royal Oaks Account and Billing Coordinators                          2) Supervise and support development of Royal Oaks Account and Billing Coordinators                      3) Manage self pay balances, collection on self pay accounts, and accuracy of client statements         4) Supervise all aspects of commercial insurance billing and ensure compliance with standards and regulations                                    
5) Oversee and supervise all billing for Royal Oaks Hospital                                    
6) Generate reports detailing current billing for the hospital for utilization and interpretation by upper management                                    
7) Promote best practice policies and consistently improve collections for maximum billing efficiency   8) Ensure client records remain in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies                                     
9) Other duties as assigned                                    
Although driving is not an essential function of the position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required in the event the employee drives during the course of employment.
