POSITION PURPOSE:
To participate in the planning, coordination, and solution development and implementation activities related to the integration of applications and technologies' revenue cycle components across Compass Health. This individual will serve as the lead for the Revenue Department in the transition to a single Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and will participate in ongoing EHR system management in regards to billing and reimbursement. This individual will also participate in other system integration efforts as needed.

 

 

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
"1) Participate in planning of integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams and provide technical revenue cycle integration expertise.
2) Identify and resolve system issues related to revenue cycle integration projects.
3) Participate in testing phase of new applications and technologies.
4) Assist external developers in ensuring technologies meet the needs of Compass health, specifically billing and reimbursement needs.
6) Assist in resolving any billing system issues with new applications and technologies after integration is complete.
7) Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance or improve business processes through integration.
8) Interact with vendors to ensure a thorough knowledge of potential applications/technologies.
9) Work with other Compass billing staff to ensure new systems meet their needs.
10) Other duties as assigned."


"Although driving is not an essential function of the position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required in the event the employee drives during the course of employment.
Evening, night or weekend work may be required to complete projects outside of normal office hours. "
