Compensation: $56,929.60/year

POSITION PURPOSE

To participate in the planning, coordination, and solution development and implementation activities related to the integration of applications and technologies' revenue cycle components across Compass Health. This individual will serve as the lead for the Revenue Department in the transition to a single Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and will participate in ongoing EHR system management in regards to billing and reimbursement. This individual will also participate in other system integration efforts as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Participate in planning of integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams and provide technical revenue cycle integration expertise
• Identify and resolve system issues related to revenue cycle integration projects
• Participate in testing phase of new applications and technologies
• Assist external developers in ensuring technologies meet the needs of Compass health, specifically billing and reimbursement needs
• Assist in resolving any billing system issues with new applications and technologies after integration is complete
• Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance or improve business processes through integration
• Interact with vendors to ensure a thorough knowledge of potential applications/technologies
• Work with other Compass billing staff to ensure new systems meet their needs
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

High School/GED required

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least five (5) years experience in healthcare receivables and revenue cycle technology maintenance preferred
• Experience in strategic technology planning and development preferred
• Working technical knowledge of EHR technology system's billing and reimbursement components preferred
• Understanding of billing end-user needs and requirements preferred
