Compensation: $16.00 hourly

Provide procurement and vendor contract support services organization-wide for large, multi-site organization.  Full-time, benefit-eligible position.


• Function as the Back-up System Administrator and system maintenance for the WorkPlace automated purchase order system
• Serve as the day to day contact for WorkPlace staff support, set up and remove WorkPlace users, update pricing, maintain vendor shopping lists and provide training for all Compass Health regions.
• Proactively monitor the WorkPlace system for open POs and outstanding transactions. Research and resolve issues with the vendor and delivery carrier. Communicate all WorkPlace order situations with Accounts Payable, in a timely manner
• Continually monitor all Supply Requests received from staff through the Procurement Request e-mailbox, review supply requests and manually submit orders for supplies purchased outside of WorkPlace. Research cost, track and process returns, work with Director of Procurement to reassign orders/requests/questions received between the Procurement Team, as needed. Research and resolve all vendor and delivery carrier issues, in compliance with company policy and program needs. Communicate all resolved order situations with Accounts Payable, in a timely manner
• Receive and process all approved medical, dental and hospital supply requests. Coordinate and train the Primary Care and Healthcare Home staff to transition to submit medical orders through WorkPlace
• Issue 6-Month Introductory Period gift certificate codes, maintain records of logo apparel orders, including payroll deductions and submit approved invoices to Accounts Payable for payment
• Process and order all bulk print job requests including prescription pads and paper
• Work with the Director of Procurement and the Procurement & Vendor Contract Coordinator on vendor and GPO cost comparisons and customer service
• Maintain and provide current, accurate information to all assigned vendor accounts, ie: new and closed location addresses, cost centers, users, etc.

Job Requirements


High School/GED required


• At least three (3) years experience in customer service and business-related procurement and/or research preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Windows-based software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
