Compensation: 19.58-23.11

POSITION PURPOSE:                                    
Responsible for the operation of the Medication Clinic.  Functions as a case manager for consumers served by medication clinic.                                    
                                    
QUALIFICATIONS:                                    
RN, LPN, or GPN - that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation. Has a commitment to service and personal excellence. Is team oriented and values diversity.                                    
                                    
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                                    
1) Plan, organize and coordinate medication clinic.
2) Review medication education sheets with client.
3) Function as case manager for consumers needing medication refills.
4) Complete necessary documentation regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for consumer records.
5) Administer IM medication, dispense sample medications, maintain accurate logs on all medications received and dispensed.
6) Work to help complete prior authorizations.
7) Maintain list of injections, coordinate ordering and delivery, verify orders are current, and discuss any side effects
8) Take vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screening process.
9) Broad knowledge and experience with computers.
10) Other duties as assigned
                                    
                                    
Although driving is not an essential function of the position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required in the event the employee drives during the course of employment.
