Compensation: $23.37/hr LPN; $30/hr RN

Seeking a nurse to provide PRN coverage for our busy behavioral health outpatient clinic in Rolla.  Responsible for the operation of the Medication Clinic and providing nursing coverage to accommodate region's practitioner schedules. Functions as a case manager for consumers served by medication clinic.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Prepares for minimal to frequent changes and travels to neighboring clinics for nursing coverage and training

- Plan, organize and coordinate medication clinic.
• Review medication education sheets with client.
• Function as case manager for consumers needing medication refills.
• Complete necessary documentation regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for consumer records.
• Administer IM medication, dispense sample medications, maintain accurate logs on all medications received and dispensed.
• Work to help complete prior authorizations.
• Maintain list of injections, coordinate ordering and delivery, verify orders are current, and discuss any side effects
• Take vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screening process.
• Broad knowledge and experience with computers.
• Other duties as assigned
