Job Description

Compensation: $16.92/hour

  • The Maintenance Tech III oversees the ongoing maintenance functions of specified facility or facilities’ physical plants, equipment and grounds in order to provide a safe and clean environment that meets the standards of all applicable regulatory authorities
  • Requires leadership and team skills
  • Requires effective verbal, written and nonverbal communication skills
  • Possess cognitive, organizational, and emotional ability and maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors, deadlines and difficult situations
  • Requires skilled general knowledge of buildings and equipment maintenance and repair achieved through specific training and/or experience
  • Must have a working knowledge of Building Blue Prints
  • Requires a working knowledge of NFPA National Building Codes, National Fire Codes, and Building Codes
  • Will participate in regular departmental and committee meetings as assigned.
  • Must have working knowledge of JCAHO, Medicare/Medicaid and OSHA requirements regarding safety and equipment
  • Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the company and the department

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Advanced skill  level in at least two trades required
  • A valid drivers license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E Missouri/Class D Louisiana driver ’s license by the end of the 60 day introductory period required
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects on multiple sites, collaborate with multiple disciples and coordinate with multiple vendors and contractors required
  • At least five years of experience in an institutional or healthcare maintenance position
    preferred
