Compensation: $12.24 Hourly


Responsible for supervision of consumers to ensure their safety and well being.


High school diploma/GED preferred, a valid drivers license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60 day introductory period.  Good verbal and written communication skills. Has a commitment to service and personal excellence. Is team oriented and values diversity.


1) Provide group education.

2) Transport consumers as necessary.

3) Log new medications and store appropriately on unit.

4) Observe self-administration of medicine on unit.

5) Assist with orientation of new consumers.

6) Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames.

7) Attend staff meetings and technician trainings.

8) Conduct disaster drill on each shift.

9) Supervise consumers.

10) Collect and process UA’s.

11) Inspect and maintain premises for cleanliness and safety.

12) Inventory and store essential supplies for unit.

13) Ensure safety of consumers by appropriately responding to crisis situations as they occur.

14) Oversee day to day operations of the unit.

15) Conduct residential orientation with new consumers and provides overview of consumer handbook and facility protocols.

16) Conduct disaster drills as scheduled and documents as appropriate.

17) Attend staff meetings and maintain open dialogue with technicians.

18) Other duties as assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
