Job Description

Compensation: $57, 865.60 annually

The person holding this position will be responsible for ensuring that Compass’ laboratory testing agreements and practices are such that they support quality patient care and comport with applicable legal requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Review laboratory testing agreements for adherence to terms and appropriate usage of laboratory testing in clinical and hospital settings
• Work in an electronic health record system to review usage of laboratory testing as appropriate and necessary for quality patient care
• Draft, implement, and review/assess adherence to laboratory testing policies in clinical and hospital settings
• Articulate laboratory testing policies and protocol to applicable staff, including physicians and nurses

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in nursing required

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience in health care delivery, administration, or support preferred
• Strong critical thinking, analysis and communication skills required
• Must have the ability to work with a variety of health care provider types in a variety of settings

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in Missouri required
