Compensation: $57, 865.60 annually

 

This position will function as the Project Director for the MAT Expansion Program and is supported by a three-year grant funded by Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for the MAT Expansion Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

Project Director
• Serve as the lead individual responsible for fiscal and operational oversight of the MAT-PDOA grant activities and outcomes
• Oversee implementation of evaluation activities in coordination with the Project Evaluation Supervisor
• Oversee and coordinates expansion initiatives to support model development, policy changes, sustainability and replication within Compass Health and the state
• Oversee and coordinates the development and implementation of outreach, screening referral and EBP treatment services
• Demonstrate working knowledge of local statewide resources available to achieve changes within policies and infrastructure to effectively support system change and the MAT-PDOA project
• Will become a member of the Compass Health’s MAT-PDOA oversight committee, ensuring compliance with all required MAT-PDOA services and outcomes, and will facilitate/lead the MAT-PDOA Advisory Work Group – to respond to and address challenges and solutions related to policy and project implementation
• Service as liaison between Compass Health, the Missouri Department of Mental health, SAMHSA Federal Project Officer and other key community stakeholders
• Travel includes in-state travel for program oversight and occasional trainings
• Schedule: This position will be conducted during normal business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (may include some evenings and weekends)

Therapy
• Provide psychotherapy for persons served
• Function as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations including knowledge of utilization management criteria
• Maintain agreed upon level of customer care requirements
• Will provide culturally competent services to meet the unique cultural needs of each agency consumer and family member
• Complete treatment plans with persons served
• Be knowledgeable of other human/social services for purposes of referral if the agency is unable to provide a particular service and maintain documentation of such referrals
• Interface with other human/social services to provide holistic services to persons served
• Provide emergency services for crisis calls/walk-ins per the daytime crisis protocol
• Regular attendance (except as excused)
• Attend all training as required

• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation/vocational/pastoral counseling, family therapy or closely-related field required
• Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation/vocational/pastoral counseling, family therapy or closely-related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), as defined by 9CSR30-4.030 and licensed under Missouri Law
• Administrative and policy experience at local and state level required
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting process and outcome data required
• Knowledge of culturally and linguistically appropriate services required
• Experience servicing in behavioral health with adult systems/SAMHSA preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, PLP or LP required
