Compensation: $87,672 annually


The Director of Data Reporting Services will provide direct oversight of the data reporting team and will be responsive to organizational reporting requests. This person will work closely with leadership across the organization and will ensure data accuracy, timeliness and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for reporting accurate information to meet organizational needs. The Director is also responsible for generating and compiling database reports, and analyzing data for accuracy/inaccuracies. The individual will have proven knowledge of EHR applications, use of specialized reporting tools to create/develop reports as required. Ideal candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, work in a team environment and possess the ability to meet deadlines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Direct supervision of the data reporting team including recruiting, training and development of data team employees
• Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
• Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
• Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations
• Responsible for building dashboards and performance metrics to support organizational need including technical reporting processes
• Responsible for oversight of the design and delivery of reports including designing and developing new reports (ad hoc) as requested; modifying existing reports, testing reports for accuracy and enhancing reports as necessary
• Attend meetings and workshops as needed.
• Assist VP of HIM in data reporting projects as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals

 

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

• High School/GED required
• Associate/Bachelor degree in information systems preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least three (3) years experience with various computer software and EHR applications required
• At least three (3) years experience using Crystal Reports required
• At least three (3) years experience using SQL to query complex relational databases and validate reporting results required
• Previous supervisory or management experience required
