Customer Relations Specialist - Dental

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing consumer appointments, operating telephone system, entering data into the computer, maintaining all forms, and prepping forms to be scanned. This position will work four days a week, ten hours a day.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Greets consumers with excellent customer service skills, schedules appointments and collects fees.
  2. Greets caller with appropriate greeting and operates telephone system ensuring appropriate referral and/or processing of calls. Process and route calls from Crisis Hot Line appropriately.
  3. Prepares for medication clinic and ensures all forms needed are in consumer file.
  4. Ensures adequate supplies of forms are available.
  5. Processes incoming and outgoing mail.
  6. Processes consumer electronic files for opening and closing ensuring all records are up to date with each appointment made.
  7. Conducts financial intakes, ensuring each client has all needed financial and clinical forms signed at time of appointment.
  8. Enters data in multiple computer programs.
  9. Admits and discharges Department of Mental Health consumers in the state computer system (CIMOR).
  10. Processes and preps filing for scanning into electronic storage of paper consumer files.
  11. Assists and supports all clinical staff with use of electronic systems.
  12. Monitors all client records to see billing is progressing adequately.
  13. Other duties as assigned.
