Job Description

Compensation: $14.06/ hour (Bachelors) $16.59/ hour (Masters)



Unit Leaders report to the Clubhouse Director and are responsible for delivering services to members.

Core Responsibilities:

• Management of Clubhouse units

- Planning, coordinating, and executing daily unit work with membership

- Working with membership to complete unit work and tasks side by side

- Applying and modeling the Clubhouse Standards, as stated through the ICCD (International Center for Clubhouse Development), in daily tasks

- Creatively encouraging and motivating members to participate in their rehabilitation

- Organizing, executing, and participating in some Evening, Weekend, and Holiday activities

- Actively participating in the fundraising efforts of the Clubhouse

- Completing frequent outreach of members who are not in attendance for each unit

- Assisting to meet the community needs of members

• Documentation Requirements

- Developing Personal Development Plans (PDP) with members in unit

- Completing quarterly reviews of PDP’s

- Completing weekly comments on progress notes with member in unit

- Completing annual informational paperwork with members

- Completing chart checks for members in unit when applicable

• Participating in the TE (Transitional Employment) Program as a placement manager

• Adhering to ICCD Standards and Philosophy

• Participating in a 3-week Clubhouse Training

• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Other Responsibilities:

- Attend all training as required by Crider Health Center, Accreditors and Funders.



Job Requirements


A mental health professional as defined in 9CSR30-4.030

• Or, hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted on the basis of one (1) year of experience for each year of required educational train

• Experience and skill in programs for individuals with mental illness, particularly in regard to goal setting, consumer advocacy/support and utilization of community resource

• Valid drivers license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60 day introductory period.

C. Supervision

Unit Leaders receive supervision from the Clubhouse Director.
