Compensation: $16.92 Hourly

DEPARTMENT: Administration

POSITION PURPOSE

Provide supportive services to a department head/lead by performing high-level clerical tasks critical to the operations of the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Act as the department’s point of contact by responding to email and phone calls or directing to the appropriate person on the team
• Accept assignments from a variety of people in the department
• Enhance presentations in power point or other sources
• Maintain department software/spreadsheets to promote efficiency
• Maintain e-filing and paper systems
• Analyze internal processes and recommend procedural additions/changes
• Accept receipt and distribution of deliveries
• Monitor department dash board and alert to VP/DCCO
• Advisory Board communications as outlined by VP
• Meeting and training planning and logistic set up
• Assist in completion of monthly/quarterly reports as assigned
• Community engagement activities in coordination with VP and team
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

High School/GED required

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft office tools, as well as expertise in the software used by the department required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills required
• Initiative to manage multiple projects using high-level, analytical skills required
• Organizational skills combined with good decision-making skills and the ability to be flexible in task assignments required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license upon hire
