ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Team Leader 

Description

The ACT Team Leader administers and directs the ACT team, and assists with program design, implementation, and administration.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, or related field
  • Licensed in the state of MO
  • Experience in mental health/substance treatment
  • Experience with transitional-aged youth preferred
  • Management experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, and excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Essential Functions:

  • Program Design, Implementation, & Administration
  • Work with agency leadership to implement ACT
  • Assist with monitoring & administering program budget
  • Complete reports necessary for on-going DMH approval
  • Initiate and maintain relationships, in coordination with ACT team, with law enforcement, human service agencies, formal/informal community resources, schools, and other entities referring or serving ACT target population
  • Staff Recruitment, Management and Development
  • Hiring, training, and setting of priorities for all ACT team staff reporting to this position
  • Complete performance reviews for direct report staff
  • Operational/Clinical Supervision and Clinical Service Provision
  • Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the ACT team
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to ensure functioning as a high-fidelity ACT team
  • Lead daily staff and treatment planning meetings according to the ACT model
  • Direct and coordinate customer admission, assessment, and treatment process
  • Provide weekly clinical supervision to ACT team members
  • Function as practitioner of clinical services on the ACT team
  • Ensure provision of services that are welcoming, co-occurring/complexity capable, and that use stage-matched and motivational interventions
  • Review and monitor documentation for timeliness and quality
  • Ensure 100% program productivity
  • Ensure that staff seek culturally competent services and service providers to meet the unique cultural needs of each agency customer and family member
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Regular attendance (except as excused)
  • Attend all trainings as required by Compass Health, Accreditors, and Funders
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
