Job Requirements of Crisis Line Clinician (Weekend Overnights):
• Associate degree required
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred
• At least one (1) year of experience in behavioral health or human services if Associate degree is the highest degree obtained
• Working knowledge of DSM-V required

Crisis Line Clinician (Weekend Overnights)
Compensation: $24.54/hour
The Crisis Line Clinician provides immediate person-centered assistance via the Compass Crisis Line. The Crisis Line Clinician is responsible for quickly identifying each caller’s needs and directing callers to intake services, existing providers, and other resources, as clinically appropriate.
*This is a PRN position scheduled Saturday & Sunday overnights, 12a-8a.
Responsibilities of the Crisis Line Clinician:
• Provide person-centered and trauma informed services when speaking with callers
• Provide clinically appropriate crisis interventions over the phone
• Complete Provides Zero Suicide screening and work to identify each caller’s needs in a timely manner
• Attend monthly meetings and weekly clinical supervision with Crisis Line Supervisor
• Maintain agreed upon level of productivity
• Provide culturally competent services to meet the unique cultural needs of each caller
• Be knowledgeable of all services provided within Compass Health
• Be knowledgeable of other human/social services agencies for purposes of referral if Compass is unable to provide a service and maintain documentation of such referral
• Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations
• Ensure all documentation is written in proficient and professional manner
• Refer and coordinate with mobile outreach team, as necessary
• Collaborate and communicate with caller’s multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Flexibility with shifts may be required
• Make follow-up calls to callers, as required (follow up clinicians)
• Review follow-up referrals and complete outgoing calls, as required (follow up clinicians)
• Be knowledgeable of other human/social services agencies for purposes of referral if Compass is unable to provide a service and maintain documentation of such referral, as required (follow up clinicians)
• Screen for safety, identify immediate needs, provide education on resources and services available, and complete coordination and referral with other programs within Compass Health, as required (follow up clinicians)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
