Job Description

Compensation: $16.37 - $30.37/hr, dependent upon licensure

Critical position.  $1000 signing bonus offered, after successful completion of the 6-month orientation period.

Clinician needed to be join our addictions team in Columbia, MO to serve as the designated State Opioid Response (SOR) therapist.  Will serve as a treatment team member for our EPICC (Engaging Patients in Care Coordination) outreach team and state initiative, which creates access to Medication Assisted Treatment, Recovery Coach (aka Peer Support Specialists) peers, and other treatment services for those who present with or recently experienced an opioid related overdose. 

Provides direct patient care (assessment, individual, family and group psychotherapy) as well as serve as team coordinator for referrals and consumers receiving care at the OUD clinic. Creates treatment plans and all other necessary, relevant patient-care related documentation. Discusses patient’s responses to treatment and discusses individual treatment progress with specific Program Director and treatment team members, when applicable. Provides clinical supervision with Master level trainees as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.


• Provide initial evaluation and assessment interview within 72 hours of patient admission
• Develop appropriate treatment plan to provide service during hospitalization and provide aftercare recommendations
• Conduct individual, group, and family/couples therapy
• Maintain appropriate documentation within time frames stated in policies
• Work with interdisciplinary treatment team members
• Abide by HIPAA laws
• Remain current on organizational standards such as (but not limited to) CALM, CPR, and Essential learning Abide by all professional and corporate ethical standards
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


• Master’s degree in counseling or psychology as recognized by the US Department of Education for LPC/PLPC required
• Master’s degree in social work or psychology as recognized by the US Department of Education for LCSW/LMSW required


Working knowledge of DSM-5 preferred


• Licensed Professional Counselor
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker

  • Certified counselors also considered.  Must posess CADC, CRADC, or CRAADC certification to qualify.
