Job Description

Compensation: $23.00/Hour

POSITION PURPOSE:                                     
Responsible for the accurate posting, maintenance and reconciliation of all payroll related activities to the General Ledger as well as Preparation of required periodic reports at Federal and State levels as well as requested reporting at the Company level.                                    
                                    
QUALIFICATIONS:                                    
Associates Degree with two years experience in accounting or payroll                                     
                                    
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                                    
1) Responsible for the accurate and timely posting of all payoll batches to the General Ledger           

2) Responsible for the set up and maintenance of position codes and payroll posting accounts         

3) Responsible for the preparation of monthly payroll accruals and posting of such to the General Ledger                                    
4) Responsible for the set up, review and maintenance of payroll splits                                    
5) Responsible for the reconciliatoin of payroll related liability accounts                                    
6) Responsible for review of payroll registers as part of the payroll cycle internal controls                 

7) Responsible for preparation of required periodic reporting at Federal and State levels                   

8) Provides assistance with salary reporting for various cost reports and grants                                                                  
                                    
Although driving is not an essential function of the position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required in the event the employee drives during the course of employment.
