Job Description

Compensation: $28.37/hr.

The Director of Prevention Services is responsible for marketing the program in the community as well as preparing and conducting classes. The director is also responsible for supervisory duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct oversight of Prevention staff and programs.
• Deliver prevention programming to children and adults
• Schedule classes to meet the needs of schools while also maximizing staff productivity.
• Bi-monthly meetings with both the elementary and middle school team leaders for supervision and problem solving.
• Meet with partnering agencies to insure the use of common language and a continuum of prevention services.
• Maintain communication with school staff and conduct program evaluations.
• Revise, update and develop program curriculum and program evaluation protocols as needed; oversee training by Team Leaders.
• Manage, supervise, schedule and deliver Kids Fist Program.
• Assist students, school staff and adults in locating appropriate resources; assist with crisis intervention as needed.
• Regular attendance (except as excused)
• Attend all training as required by Compass Health, Accreditors and Funders.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals

 

Job Requirements


Master’s Degree in mental health related field or related experience required

At least two (2) years’ experience required
